Hi, I’m Julie, and I’m a health and wellness coach. And I was once part of “The Blubbed”. You know, the majority of the population that dealt with stubborn belly fat, the difficulties in weight loss, and the frustration over all the work put into exercise and nutrition. Frustration because of plateaus, because of the lack of change, and because life seemed to be at a standstill despite all of the time put in.
Wellness Coach Julie’s Past Efforts to Lose Weight
Crash diets, no-carb diets, high-protein/high-fat diets. Diets, diets, diets. I tried every single diet advertised on TV, every food fad on the internet, and became so obsessed with counting calories. I thought that if I calculated every strategic moment of my life, every morsel of food that went into my mouth, that I would lose tons of weight and look like a supermodel.
I was a skinny girl, from pre-school until high school. Then, lo and behold the “Freshman 15″ that I was quite confident I was immune to. (It is a phrase depicting the myriad of college students gaining weight from excessive freedom, excessive late-night food, excessive FUN). I weighed over 162 lbs by the time I graduated from college, had severe acne, and became part of The Blubbed.
